What is Instagram?

• To get yourself noticed by other user you must follow and comment on popular Instagram accounts like, for e.g. popular band accounts like Metallica or accounts of celebrities. Mostly another user is likely to click on username to see what this user has got. 
• The second and most important thing is to follow all your friends from your contact list. They are the one who are most likely to follow you back if you follow them.
• Don’t spam on popular pages. This will not only give you negative comments but can also get your account suspended.

•  A community which uses tag #jj, includes a series of rules so that more people can get involved. For every picture that involves this tag, you need to comment on two pictures and need to like three more pictures.

6.    When to Post and How Much?

• Recent study shows that the best time to post your pictures is Wednesday and Thursday. Especially at Wednesday 5 pm.
• Least popular day is Sunday so avoid posting pictures on Sunday.
• DO NOT POST MORE THAN 3 PICTURES AT THE SAME TIME. Flooding a user’s timeline is not a good thing. They will get annoyed and will eventually unfollow you.
• DO NOT POST images containing text on your account unless you have the account that only post motivational quotes only. You may think it is cool to post such things on your account but they are not! It is even worse if such pictures don’t match your feed’s theme.
